This is to certify that Mr. Tan Kim Hoang ( 1

that

was a student of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong from September 1936 to December 1941 when his studies were interrupted by the outbreak of the Pacific war. Subsequently Mr. Tan proceeded to Free China and continued his studies at Cheeloo University from September 1942 to June 1943 when he passed his final examination. After this he completed the requisite period of one year of intership, thus fulfilling the requirements for his degree.

It is my opinion that the standard of efficiency which he reached and the method of his examination by the Cheeloo University authorities is such as to furnish sufficient guarantee that he possesses the requisite knowledge and skill for the efficient practice of Medicine, Surgery and Midwifery.
